Datasheet for Scion_of_Glory_ArmorV

Design: Hard - There were a ton of variables that I've traded back and forth now to determine what I think is the best balance. 

Piloting: Master - Using this ship to it's full extent requires a huge amount of previous knowledge in piloting and the mechanical limitations of the ship itself. 

 

- Nukes are by far the most damaging projectile in the game, and when set up properly can easily pierce all manner of armor. A very important maneuver that you must master in order to effectively utilize this ship is to tilt your ship at a perpendicular angle to your opponent, lining up the nukes, then launching them. If done correctly, additionally aiming precisely, you can cut through any amount of armor extremely quickly. 

 

- The sidearm of small lasers is incredibly important and allows Scion to pick out/off vulnerable targets after the nukes strip target. They also allow ammo conservation due to the limited amount of volleys Scion has access to. 

 

- The limited amount of volleys demands that you be thrifty and effective with your shots, and opponents that know this will actively play defensively. You have to judge when and where to use them. 

 

- Due to extended reload times, using your weapons leaves you extremely vulnerable, so you often need to leave one of the hotkeys unused for defensive spacing as you wait for the rest to reload. 

 

As with Eidolon, the effectiveness scales with practice and know-how, arguably even more so because of the nukes involved as well as the numerous hotkeys that are all necessary. Knowing how to aim, when to auto-fire, if you can auto-fire, where to aim, splitting shots, when to activate boost to jump on top of opponents, result in a very difficult to perfectly pilot ship but with extremely high potential even I haven't managed to fully explore. Ultimately Scion can thrive over a huge amount of circumstances as per the pilot's usage.

Has armor that allows you to engage and get close to rail fans, rail spinners, TB rails, and just generally tank missiles and other projectiles, at the cost of having a much more fragile front. Hotkey 8 to burn it off. Has additional utility of being extremely light by comparison as you can detonate the concentrated armor and be more evasive against other swift opponents
